Soffit & Fascia Repair
The wood behind your gutters. We repair rot at the roofline and fix what let the water in.
Fascia is the board your gutters hang from; soffit is the paneling underneath the eave. When gutters overflow, sag, or leak at a seam long enough, that wood takes the water — and rot at the roofline spreads quietly. Peeling paint on the fascia, a soft spot when you press it, stains on the soffit panels: that's water telling you where it's been getting in.
It matters for more than looks. Rotten fascia can't hold gutter hangers, so the gutter sags, which makes the overflow worse, which feeds the rot. And open soffit gaps are an invitation to squirrels and wasps. Fixing the wood and fixing the water problem that caused it have to happen together — doing one without the other just restarts the clock.
How we do it
- We assess how far the damage actually runs — probing the wood, not eyeballing the paint. Rot usually extends past what you can see.
- Repair vs. replace gets explained honestly: a section splice where the wood is sound on both sides, full board replacement where it isn't.
- We find and fix the water source — the failed seam, the backed-up run, the missing drip edge — so the new wood doesn't inherit the old problem.
- Gutters get rehung on the sound wood with proper hanger spacing and slope.
Who it's for
Anyone seeing peeling paint, soft wood, or stains at the roofline; anyone whose gutter is pulling away from the house; anyone buying or selling a home where the inspection flagged the eaves.
Who it's not for
Full roof replacement or structural framing work — that's a roofer or a GC, and we'll say so plainly if that's what your house needs.

What moves the price
We don't quote over the phone — here's why — but the number is driven by:
- • Linear footage of fascia or soffit affected
- • How deep the rot runs and how much comes out
- • Roof height and access
- • Whether gutters need rehanging or replacing along the repaired sections
You walk the finished job with us — slope, seams, corners — and sign off before final payment. We stand behind every foot of gutter we hang.
